Sommerherz, später

In the series Sommerherz, Thekla Ehling followed her children and their friends as they grew up. Over several years she documents situations and moods which evoke, in the beholder, memories of his or her own childhood and associations, some of them lovely and funny, some of them connected with the bittersweet melancholy that resonates in the exhibition's title: Sommerherz, später.
