For the first time, the exhibition shows a synopsis of the work of graphic designer and art director Willy Fleckhaus (1925-1983), who shaped the visual culture of the young FRG in the 1960s to the 80s like no other. During the youth photo competitions organized by photokina he repeatedly discoverd young talents, such as Thomas Höpker, Michael Friedel or Horst H. Baumann. The magazine designed by him, “twen”, was the only 1960s German magazine to garner attention internationally.
