Barbara Hofann-Johnson works as a freelance art historian and curator in the field of contemporary art and photography; her clients include the Photographic Collection/SK Stiftung Kultur in Cologne. She also teaches photography and theory at Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen. In addition to photography generally, her curatorial interest lies in contemporary art, its various media and also, in this context, the development of concepts that link these media.
