Hartwig Schwarz works for the Temporary Gallery, a contemporary art centre in Cologne that collaborates with many international guest curators and theoreticians. He studied photography and film. His interest lies in working artistically with photography, which in his view seems to be largely devalued by an excess of information, repetitions and digital technologies.
