Hidden behind BöhmKobayashi are Katja Stuke and Oliver Sieber, but behind their identity many figures are concealed: photographer and artist, curator and initiator of exhibitions, designer and editor of books on art. Who each of them is at this very moment, when they are moving through their photographic cosmos, cannot always be said with assurance. Through their work and their teaching activity, however, they have long since become moderators of a certain photographic culture. Katja Stuke and Oliver Sieber studied in Düsseldorf, where they also live and work. Their own works were on show most recently at: Fotografia Europa (Reggio Emilia), Kunstmuseum Bonn, Museum for Contemporary Photography Chicago, Stadtmuseum München, Temple Paris, Kyotografie 2015 (Oliver), Museum Folkwang Essen. They are the curators of the main exhibitions of this year’s Photoszene festival.
