AUF DER STRAßE UND ZUHAUSE

For several years now, Steffi Sonntag has been photographically documenting men and women who use and substitute drugs. Her images convey an unaccustomed insight into a lifeworld between normality and exclusion both at home and on the street.

They show people who, though publicly visble, are rarely noticed by their fellow humans as they struggle to manage their lives. They belong to the marginalized groups in our bourgeois society.
