Untiefen, Omut.

Water. A paradoxical element that makes things seem weightless inside its own heaviness, and despite its own transparency creates colourful and spatial impressions. With Untiefen, Igor Chepikov compiles a broad spectrum of illusions which arise in the visual interplay of water surface and water interior. Chepikov's shallow waters are polymorphic phenomena — even more, parallel universes with unique shapes and colours not to be found beyond the water's surface.
