Image Machine

For this major photo project we asked several hundred photographers to send us mobile phone photos on the festival theme “The State I Am In”.
We view mobile phones as the “image machines” of our time. They are a visual diary and, in their images, communicate our inner state just as much as the outer situation. A curator team from the Fotoakademie has turned the material into visual spaces that show what is photographed this way and whether a mobile style already exists. Imagine!
