Do chairs have the performative impact to make the crisis of human nature recognizable?
The theatrical arrangement of gutting office chairs and joining them to form (a)symmetrical existences reflects the extension of corporeality. With transhumanity in mind, chair constellations with anima thus arise. These animal machines are exhibited by Alexander Pascal Forré in the photo series Interstuhl, with a reminiscence of Jürgen Klauke's Sunday neuroses. (Text: Gregor Häußinger)
