Christoph Bangert is a photojournalist specializing in reportages on political events and from war and crisis regions. He has reported from Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Darfur, Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, among other places. His images have been published in the likes of the New York Times, Stern and Neue Zürchner Zeitung. His photobook War Porn, featuring previously unpublished war photographs, was widely acclaimed by the media internationally. He studied photographic design and photojournalism, and his main interest lies in humanistic, documentary photography.
