›SO WHAT II.‹ – selected polaroids

Neuse has been working with the medium of photography for decades and questions the aspect of fiction and reality. His experiments with Polaroid and other partly displaced instant imaging equipment result in series and sequences along the way. In triptychs and single images, banal everyday themes as well as violence, eroticism and their effects on our society are thematized and questioned. Physical manipulations and digital reworking of the instant image material lead to abstract/painterly tableaus.
