Meadows, forests and hills lend a landscape its character. But motorways, cutting up the natural relief like a distinctive groove, blend in with landscape images, too.
Though, on the one hand, they are a connecting part of traffic infrastructure, they also, on the other hand, separate habitats.
The exhibition's subjects are aspects of the hierarchical web of human interventions in favour of a seemingly optimized habitat on the one hand, and the relevance of impacts on the affected environment on the other.
